We are looking forward to an exciting year of keeping pets healthy. Happy 2013!
Hello to all of Emerald Animal Hospital’s current (and hopefully some future) clients. My name is Dr. Michelle Lindsey and as of January 7, 2013 I will be working as the primary veterinarian at Emerald, alongside Dr. Smith. I wanted to introduce myself and let you know a little about me.
I graduated in 2001 from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and was a classmate of Dr. Smith’s. I practiced at Lakewood Animal Hospital/The Cat Clinic from 2001 until 2006, and have been at Stow Kent Animal Hospital/Portage Animal Clinic from late 2006 until the present (living in Cleveland this has been quite the commute!)
I have strong interests and experience in dentistry, soft tissue surgery, weight management, managing skin and ear problems , chronic pain control, and feline medicine and behavior – especially urinary tract disorders.
I live in Cleveland with my husband and 3 cats. I enjoy horseback riding and take dressage lessons and in the warmer weather I am an avid gardener.
I look forward to serving my home community and my goal is to provide you with the highest level of compassionate care and education possible.
I wish you all a wonderful holiday season and look forward to meeting you in the new year.
