Epilepsy is a common neurologic disorder seen in animals. It is often a very sudden and frightening event for an owner when they witness their animal having a seizure for the first time. One of the ways an owner can be better prepared if they are confronted with this situation is by gaining an understanding of what is happening and how to react.
